This is a Full-Time 40 hour weekly position with the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications under Service Delivery. This position's duties will include setting up and installing computers, network printers, software, and peripherals. You will provide support to state Agency clients by answering questions or resolving computer problems while ensuring standards are met. You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to help with and improve day to day activities. The position will work with functions or processes on the network and domain related duties.

This position works in a typical office environment. Installations and repairs may require working in cramped or confined spaces, lifting heavy equipment, and exposure to electrical hazards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Associates Degree in Information Systems or related field or 2 years of previous work experience in the field of Computer Support is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365;
  • Microsoft Teams;
  • work effectively alone or in a team environment;
  • ability to identify and resolve hardware/software issues on various computer hardware platforms;
  • interface with users via our service delivery system, Telephone, chat, or electronic mail;
  • communicate well both verbally and in written form;
  • manage time, prioritize work and complete work within assigned timeframes;
  • knowledge in the operation of computers and networking.
